Read the item label

The FTC’s care-label guidance describes instructions supplied for clothing care. Use the actual garment’s label and any provider instructions rather than choosing a universal washing temperature from a fibre name or an outfit diagram. The source concerns US labelling, not a promise about every jurisdiction.

Separate a planning limit from care advice

The packing tool lets you enter how many wears you plan before washing. That number is your assumption, not a recommendation for hygiene or fabric care. If the actual garment needs different handling, change the itinerary, quantity or substitute.

Allow real drying time

A laundry-after-day-four plan assumes items are clean and dry before day five. Do not rely on that assumption without checking the actual care method, facility and drying time. Wet footwear or heavy garments may need a different schedule.

Occasion rentals and repairs

Check care and return terms with the actual provider before renting or borrowing. Ask about feasible repairs and alterations rather than assuming every hem, seam or coating can be changed safely. The site does not invent provider prices or guarantees.
