Give the cover-up a job

A loose long cover-up with flat sandals can serve the dry walk to a pool. A linen shirt above swim shorts offers a different long-sleeve option. Ordinary outer clothing is not presented as water-safety or swimming-performance equipment.

Choose your visible coverage

Check the cover-up closure and opacity, including when damp. A long shirt and light trousers can offer full sleeves and hem for the dry route. Short hems and sleeveless swimwear are optional preferences, not required holiday uniforms.

Venue rules still apply

Confirm where swimwear and sandals are acceptable, particularly between water, changing areas and dining rooms. A resort label does not define every venue’s dress code. Change into the appropriate dry outfit when asked.

Packing beyond a formula

The clothing list maps the garments and bag in each look. Add towels, toiletries, required equipment, appropriate sun protection and spare dry layers to your personal trip checklist. The generated list does not claim a complete safety or baggage checklist.
